Our creative division aims to transform the customer’s idea into a physical prototype, that can be evaluated in every aspect and ready for the realization. You can provide us with even a simple hand-drawn or technical sketch: we will develop a 3D image using CAD.
We proceed to the prototype realization using the best 3D printers available.
The approved prototype then moves to the engineering phase, which identifies the best method and accurately defines the operational stages in order to to carry on with the production.
The customer is involved step by step in the process, to guarantee a development that meets his expectations.

IMO is equipped with furnaces for microfusion and proto-casting: thanks to cutting-edge equipment and our know-how, the melting standards achieved are always at the highest level.
CASTING
CASTING
IMO is equipped with continuous casting furnaces for the production of semi-finished products (tubes, wires, sheets): the melting process is controlled by the machine.
SECTIONS
SECTIONS
The bars obtained from the casting process go through hydraulic and mechanical dies.
This ensures high quality in terms of absence of porosity and surface hardness, as well as significant section reductions.

IMO is equipped with a state-of-the-art variety of machines, including multitasking machines with 9 and 10 axes, 5-axis machining centers, and 9-axis sliding headstock lathes. The machines are constantly monitored and operate 24/7.

IMO is equipped with cutting lasers up to 2 mm thickness and laser markers for engraving jewelry pieces.

Assembly is a phase of the production process to which IMO dedicates special attention: pre-polishing, welding (laser, oven, flame), and closures assembly are operations carried out by highly qualified personnel and subjected to strict quality controls.

Setting is a complex and delicate art: there are multiple methods available for setting a gemstone, each with its own procedure and both its aesthetic and technical characteristics.

The finishing phase is the final step: if executed with non-compliance procedures, it undermines all the previous work. Giving the jewel the right brilliance to enhance the finishing and volumes through cleaning and polishing, requires the implementation of rigorous procedures carried out by sensitive and well-trained workforce. It goes without saying that this phase deserves our utmost attention.
QUALITY CONTROL
QUALITY CONTROL
IMO conducts checks on the alloy’s title, Vickers hardness the material, and on the dimensions of semi-finished products. The quality control accompanies the production process and is procedurally implemented. Final inspection is carried out on each finished product, covering both functionality and aesthetics.
